D&G HITS THE BEACH IN STYLE

Wit woo! D&G unveils its new men's beachwear collection and it's certainly pepped us up this morning.

OK, so the weather's about to change quite dramatically (we're even packing away the Tory Burch flip flops), but that doesn't mean we can't dream of poolside eye candy!

SUMMER HAIR TREND: PONY TAILS

No longer the fall-back on a bad hair day, the pony tail is big news. Here’s how to create the perfect up-do:

1: If you want a red carpet look, straighten your hair first for a smooth finish. For a more relaxed look, work with your waves.
We love: Limited edition stylers from GHD have a rounder barrel, making it easier to create perfect curls or poker straight hair. Available in a choice of colours, they cost £129.

2: Slightly wet your hair to get it into a neater shape. Shorter layers will stay in place as it dries. Opt for a de-frizz product to tame unruly locks.
We love: Soap & Glory Hair Supply, £6, is a radiance and repair mask treatment. The ultra-lite gel hydrates and de-frizzes without weighing hair down.

3: Experiment with higher or lower ponytails to suit your look. Higher styles can put tension in the face and emphasis the cheek bones … a mini “facelift”, if you will. Lower ones are more modern.
We love: Look like you’ve just stepped out of the salon with glossy Salon Glaze from Frederic Fekkai, £23.

4: Always finish off with plenty of hairspray on the sides, back and underneath the pony tail to keep it all in place.
We love: GHD’s Creation Spray, £13, gives firm hold and is designed to protect the hair from styling products.

LUST LIST: NEW GHD STYLERS

Swoon, swoon ... we've set our hearts on these limited edition stylers from GHD, brand new in store this week.

Because they have a rounded barrel, it makes it easier to create perfect curls or poker straight hair. Not only that, this little gem can be taken anywhere in the world, due to the universal, round-the-globe voltage control, so you can look your best where ever you are.

Priced at £129, the IV stylers come in a range of colours and feature a digital control and advanced ceramic heaters to give the ultimate in static free sheen. They also have a 'sleep mode' safety feature which turns the styler off if it's left unattended for 30 minutes. Clever, or what!

FROCK ME - IT'S BACK ON T4!

Well, that's our Sunday lunchtimes sorted! Forget the roast and Yorkshire puds, we will now be dedicating our time to our favourite fashionistas Alexa Chung and Henry Holland. The uber stylish pair will be bringing fashion-focus back to Channel 4 on Sundays with the second series of Frock Me.

They will be joined on the small screen by Radio 1 presenter Gemma Cairney. In the first episode, the team focus their attentions on military style, while Marina and The Diamonds share their style secrets and perform their new single I'm Not a Robot.

Catch Frock Me on T4 tomorrow at 1pm or on 4Music on Wednesday April 28 at 5.30pm.

VICTORIA BECKHAM: COVER GIRL

We love this picture of Victoria Beckham, as she graces the cover of this month's German Vogue. Looking gorgeous, her tell-tale pout is as polished as ever and my, she looks fab in this Queen of Posh photo-shoot.

The May issue is Vogue's denim special, and the one-time Spice Girl turned designer talks about her ideal pair of denims. "The legs should be cut super long, with narrow knee," she says. "And there is nothing more unattractive than to feel bruised on the waist."

No stranger to front covers, Victoria has appeared on the cover of British Vogue back in April 2008, followed by Vogue India the same year and Vogue Russia in February 2009.

You can check out her new season denim line in store.

GET THE LOOK: SEX & THE CITY

It’s the must-see film of the year – the new Sex and the City is just weeks from release and at Harvey Nichols there’s one sure-fire way to steal Carrie’s eclectic look … get your hands on a piece of Halston Heritage!

Undoubtedly one of most lusted-after labels around, the mere mention of its name is sure to get fashionistas hot under their very stylish collars. In fact Halston Heritage is so cool that none other than Sarah Jessica Parker has joined its creative team … quite some coup. And with hot Brit designer Marios Schwab at the helm, it’s easy to see why the collections are fast becoming the celebrity must-have de jour.

The uber hip brand was launched last year as a diffusion line by legendary American favourite Halston. For SS10, the clothes cleverly evoke the heyday of Studio 54 glamour, reinventing classic archive pieces with modern, elegant silhouettes. Retro chic comes to the fore with asymmetric dresses, silk jumpsuits and floor-sweeping maxis – and of course, there’s plenty of lurex!
